High rise structures are more referred now a day, due to the tremendous growth of urban population and scarcity of available land. Structural analysis and design of high rise building are governed by lateral loads caused by seismic or wind. As the height of structure increases, a lateral load becomes predominant. Interior structural system or exterior structural system provides lateral load resistance of the structure.

The objectives of the course are to analyze different methods, codes and guidelines used when performing calculations on high-rise buildings in regards to deflections, resonance frequencies, accelerations and stability. You will be learning all the concepts relating to the course. Detail case study will help you to think differently and inspire to innovate.
